Jane Ford-Farrand
Jane is a singing teacher, holistic voice coach, choral director and sound therapist. She teaches singing from her home in Staindrop, County Durham and also at Durham University. As a choral director she founded the highly acclaimed all female vocal ensemble ‘concordia’ and also currently directs a community choir (noaddedsugar!) and a small mixed voice ensemble – carillon.

In recent years she has worked with both primary and secondary school choirs and also the Durham University Madrigal Ensemble who will be appearing with Dame Emma Kirkby in January 2015.

Jane’s initial sound training was with BAST and she studied Advanced Tuning Fork practice with Lesley Carol at Atlantis College, for whom she now also works as a teacher. Her special interest is in playing music for the dying, using principally voice and lyre.
