Immerse yourself into the Nada of sound and the instruments of transformation. Hosted by Mitch Nur, PhD who has one of the largest museum quality collections of indigenous sound instruments in the world, and Special Guest instructors. Mitch has been educating students worldwide on the transformative and therapeutic nature of sound and music for over 4 decades. These are just some of the instruments that will be examined in this hands on program: Asmat Fue, Didgeridoo, Conch Shell, Tibetan Ghanta, Tingsha, Human Femur Trumpet, Shaman Drum, Peruvian Shamanic Whistling Vessels, Tibetan Long Horns, Porotiti, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gong, Harmonic Overtone Singing, Bullroarer, and more. This program will introduce you to not only the instruments that are widely used in sound therapy, but many others utilized in ceremony and ritual from the 4 corners of the world. This hands on program offers direct experience with the instruments, and besides being really educational and informative, is truly a fun filled experience. No musical experience is necessary. Limited to just 11 students, in order to create an intimate learning experience.
