Wisdom & Prayers for our Earth – The Black Line Initiative Talk & Anima Sound Healing Concert in Glastonbury Friday 31st July 2015, 6.30pm - 9.30pm 6.45pm – 7.30pm Talk 7.30 – 9.30pm Sound Healing Concert At St Mary's Church Hall, Magdelane Street, Glastonbury, BA6 9EJ We invite you to join us for a very special evening of ancient wisdom and sound healing with Felipe Viveros and Daniela Broder of Anima. The evening will begin with a talk by Felipe, the Project Coordinator of the Black Line Initiative (BLI), which is a collaboration between the Tairona Heritage Trust (UK) and Gonawindua Tairona (Colombia). The BLI is ground breaking project by the Kogi people of Colombia, who want to help us take care of nature making use of its hidden connections – the black lines. The initiative enables individuals, groups and communities doing their environmental work to contact the Kogi. Having been learning from Indigenous people for nearly twenty years, Felipe recently completed the ‘Holistic Science’ Masters at Schumacher College, focusing his research on indigenous wisdom. This informs his current work which is bringing together ecoliteracy, contemplation and mindfulness, with an emphasis on social responsibility. He has been involved in developing youth programmes for the Gross National Happiness Centre (Bhutan), and has organised a number of retreats in Europe with Wake Up International (www.wkup.org) in Colombia and receive advice based on indigenous knowledge. This will be followed by a sound healing concert with Daniela . Known for her 'crystalline voice' and 'music that penetrates the heart’, Daniela will be sharing the beautiful music of Anima accompanied by a powerful sound healing transmission through voice, Quartz Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, guitar, healing frequencies, prayers and silence. These sound healing events are an invitation to journey deep into a space of relaxation, meditation and peace; connecting in heart with our Sacred Earth as the energies of love permeate ones being through the sound waves. The space is woven in accordance with the energy in the room, using pure vocal tones, angelic sound transmissions, spirit songs and the healing vibrations of the crystal bowls to lift densities and call in the frequencies of Light. As a group we come together to create this healing space. Participants are invited to sit or lie down and open, to let go of tension and mental distractions, and receive the vibrations deep into the cells; to breathe and merge with the energetic transmissions through the sound and music. In this place of relaxation and surrender, inner shifts can occur, as the body, mind and heart begin to resonate and vibrate with pure sound, enabling us to listen more fully and hear the voice of Stillness. ...
