Are you interested in learning the art of harp playing to illuminate and relax yourself and others?
How do you improvise?
How can one work with sympathetic resonance?
How can the harp therapeutically help during recovery or difficult phases in life?
How do you create a method to make contact/connect through the harp, with people who have difficulty communicating?
How can you work in a group situation with the harp?
How does one activate another person to also play the harp, even with disabilities?
Then this coarse is for you.

The following is what you wil learn:
The International Harp Therapy Programme wil lead you step by step to become a Therapeutic Harpplayer.
A fundamental skill in musical intervals and modes to help with improvisation.
You will learn how to communicate therapeutically, listen empathically, NLP and Transactional Analysis.
The skill of working in a hospital and hospice.
The importance of correct posture using the Alexander technique.
Understanding anatomy and how sound and vibration have an effect on the body. The difference between Music Therapy and Harp Therapy.
Training in sympathetic resonances for the relief and comfort of others. Interactive harp sharing opportunities.
To develop your own musical skills.
How sound and vibration impacts our emotional, physical and spiritual bodies.
IHTP offers you:
A substantially/penetrating coarse, that has continually been proven in the US since 1990 and is accredited by the National Standards Board for Therapeutic Musicians. Experienced teachers who will guide you through the diverse modules.
Experienced mentors that help you with all the homework assignments.
A new working environment to help you get started professionally.
The possibility to reach people, with the harp, to a deeper level.
A path of personal growth.
A choice to study either in person or via the home-study possibility.
The homework assignments and internships will be done in the year following the attendanceweek in july.

The introductionday gives an impression of what the IHTP is about and can be a step up to join the level 1 program. 21-22 july is a Prep-school possibility for beginners. Students of all levels can participate in this program.
Catering:
€30,00 per day for drinks, lunch and dinner (vegetarian)
Lodging:
When you regsiter you get a list of places where you can stay. Camping in the garden of the Butterfly garden is also possible.
