We gladly provide you here with an overview of the activities of Nestor Kornblum & Michele Averard in Belgium in 2016.
Nestor Kornblum & Michele Averard are the founders of The Association of Sound Therapy, based in Spain. Both are famous Sound Therapist. Nestor is a worldwide acclaimed Overtone singer and teacher. Michele is a very succesfull singer/songwriter and leader of women's groups.

Introduction Workshop "Sound Healing"
In this very fascinating introduction workshop to Sound Healing Nestor & Michele give you a hands-on insight on how it is to work with the power of sound.
The workshop will be a combination all the forms they practice (theory and excercise).
A must if you want to feel if healing with sound is something for you!
No previous knowledge required.
Topics will a.o. include:
The science behind Sound and Vibration.
The therapeutic applications of Sound and Vibration.

Saturday May 14 2016, 14h30 - 18h00Introduction Workshop "Therapeutic Tuning Forks & Tibetan bowls"
Tuning Forks:
Therapeutic tuning forks create a bridge between Sound and structure. They are material or physical in nature, yet vibrate strongly enough to transmit that vibration. They vibrate, as does the human body, according to specific harmonic proportions which reflect the geometry of their structure. The phenomenon of sympathetic resonance is reinforced by their use on or around the body. From atom to molecule, to cells and DNA, the body is constructed from geometric shapes that fit together to form the whole. The tuning forks, by closely matching some of the most vital of these natural ratios, is able to “entrain” the body’s vibration and return it to its “optimum”, healthy vibration. They are wonderful, useful tools for use in Sound Healing
1. Introduction to Tuning Forks: Theory and Background
2. Practical exercises on the application of Tuning forks on the chakras, energy fields(subtle bodies) and physical body.
Singing Bowls:
These sacred bowls are made from a blend (alloy) of 7 metals which give them a very special resonance. Each bowl produces a number of Overtones, a single bowl can emit 3 or 4 clearly audible sounds. Because of their curved, rounded shape, these Overtones are called "unpredictable" overtones and are unique to every bowl. No two bowls Sound the same!
In this workshop you will:
1. Learn to listen deeply to the sound and overtones of the bowls
2. Begin to feel and sense the healing vibrations in each bowl
3. Conduct exercises on the healing application of the bowls in the energy fields and on the physical body.

Sunday May 15 2016 Workshops "Overtone Chant / Harmonics"

10h00 - 13h30: Overtone Chant - beginners
During this workshop Nestor teaches you 2 basic overtone singing techniques. Afterwards you will be able to recognise and produce overtones yourself.
You do not need any singing or musical experience for this workshop. Everybody can learn these techniques.
14h30 - 18h00: Overtone Chant - semi-advanced & advanced
The afternoon is for people who already can produce overtones and want to refine there overtone chant. You can also register for this workshop if you followed the beginners workshop in the morning.
Nestor will give you practical, individual and group assistance in refining your overtone singing. Please indicate when registering what experience you have.
The group will be divided in semi-advanced & advanced overtone singers.
For the semi-advanced group Nestor will provide exercises to:
Increase breath control
Improve the clarity of the Overtones
Raise the volume and increase the power of the Overtones
Those who have just completed the morning session will receive a few "personal visits" during the course to give personalized advice, according to each person's needs or proficiency.
For the Advanced Group:
It will be the same as the above, but Nestor will also include more advanced technical exercises including some of his hard- earned "secrets"
Singing with another person and in a group.

Sound Journey (Sound Bath)

"The Healing Power of Sound"
An intensive energetical experience of the healing power of sound.
All participants will be comfortable on the mats and cussions they bring themselves, while Nestor & Michele - attuned to the energy needed - will go round and "bathe them in sound".
They will sing overtones, play instruments such as Tibetan bowls, gongs, drums, kalimba, monochord etc. Doing so they create a sphere of energy and sound which is each time different, but every time very powerful.
If you want, you can set yourself a goal or intention, so the vibration of the energy field can help you solve your questions and problems. Some people even get to see power animals and symbols during their journey in sound. But most important of all is that you travel inwards and immerse yourself totally in the power of sound.
