This is a time of global unrest, evolution and transformation. Whilst we are assailed on the news by eye-for-an-eye values and environmental disaster, there remains a growing awareness of a universal field of energy that interconnects humanity and the whole of creation in "an undivided wholeness" (David Bohm). This is recognised by everyone from our children to our quantum scientists and conscious leaders. We call this unifying awareness the “singing field" and we explore our individual and collective relationship with this field through a direct experience of our authentic voice. The Naked Voice spoken and sung practices catalyse a depth of oneness and presence that are rare to find. This oneness is not accessed through a single religion or ideology. It is our universal inheritance. Once touched, this oneness ignites a wondrous power within that transforms darkness into light, depression into longing, collapse into courage, aquiescence into creative intention, entropy into syntropy, and sound into the unique song of your soul.
Learning how to sound your self requires a commitment to a quality of non-judgemental listening and conscience in which one simply begins to ask, “Who am I?", "Who is speaking or singing?”, “Who is listening?” etc. This self-inquiry then leads to a range of vocal practices that reveal the contemplative, creative and compassionate use of the human voice. Since its early beginnings in the UK, The Naked Voice has grown into an international community of committed vocalists, facilitators, mentors and friends. Cost:
£750 earlybird to be paid in full by 10/10/14 or £825 after.
£150 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit can be paid below to secure your place. The balance can be paid by cheque or by debit/credit card over the phone.
Accommodation:
This five-day retreat takes place at the beautiful Buckland Hall in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. Accommodation will be mostly en-suite twins with some rooms of three or four depending on numbers of bookings. To guarantee a twin please book early! There will be a very limited amount of twin rooms available as private (single) rooms at the additional cost of £120. These rooms will be allocated nearer the start of the retreat when we are certain of the number of the rooms available. If you would like a private room please state your preference when booking so we can include you on the list.
