What it is, how it flows and how it helps people as profoundly as it does is a mystery.
People who have felt the effects vary from:- Premature babies hovering on the edge of life whose monitors show a sudden deepening of breathing and strengthening of heartbeat when played to on a Sounding Bowl;
Through people of all ages being profoundly moved, sometimes to tears on first meeting/hearing one;
To people with advanced dementia or in the very last stages of life, even from deep in coma, responding to a Sounding Bowl as to no other instrument or therapy.
There are four levels on which we shall seek answers, Playing the Bowls runs through all of them. Beyond all seeking there is the sound itself, filling the day, filling the ears, opening the heart, warming the soul.
The four levels include a deep understanding of trees, some fascinating basics of sacred geometry, a look at how to make work a sacred activity, and some look at the results from hospital trials etc, along with some deep meditations using the Sounding Bowls.
We will do movements, one to one exercises, group circle work and lots of play.
