The Power of OM
We will begin the session by powering up our voices and our breath before exploring the seed sound “Om”. There are powerful physical, mental and spiritual benefits to be gained by toning the three sounds of the “Om” especially when we chant together. We’ll be focusing separately on the three sounds of “ah”, “oh” and “mm” to enhance and experience the physical vibrational aspects of the sound. We’ll then put them together for a 20-minute “Om” chanting session. All followed by a cup of tea and some nibbles, and a chance to exchange our experience of the session.
As always, the session is free but a small donation to the College of Sound Healing’s charity, Sound4Healing would be welcomed. Sound4Healing aims to be able to fund very much needed research into sound healing; already there are plans to support research into the effects of Sound Healing for people with dementia, with other projects on the way.
The session is at a private home, so if you haven’t been before and would like to join us, do email and I’ll send you more details. As this is a private address, it will be given out in full once your booking has been made.
There is no charge per se, but a donation of whatever you think appropriate would be appreciated, which will go to the College's charity, Sound4Healing.
It is essential to book, as places are somewhat limited.
