Description
In 1992, Sasha Bapa, his brother Sayan, Kaigal-ool Khovalyg and Albert Kuvezin founded Kungurtuk as a means of concentrating on the presentation of old and forgotten songs of their homeland. While they devoted themselves to the preservation of these songs, their concerts have always demonstrated the significance of combining tradition and innovation.
This CD contains the first part of the concert from the 'Music & Drama Theatre' in Moscow, recorded in April 2001. The second part of this concert can be found on the CD More Live.
