Description
This Samantabhadra manifestation of this Buddha means Complete God. He is shown without any garments or attributes to demonstrate the fact that he is totally himself. His prajna, Samantabhadri is also completely naked. Samantabhadra depicted in sexual union is a symbol for the redemption of every being that has transcended karma, that is finally able to dissolve and become one with him. This Unio Mystica shows all beings are derived from the Absolute, but will ultimately be unified again when they have shaken off all worldly (symbolized here by the absence of garments and attributes).
This high quality figure is hand cast in one piece in copper, then partially gold plated, with hand painted details.
