Ten seconds after you have set the Reiki Timer, you will hear its first beautiful chime and then again at intervals corresponding to your setting. Most useful to the Reiki practitioner, it is a reminder of the passing of time that leaves you free to be even more present to the sensations arising in the course of your sessions.
With the Reiki Timer you are free from the watch as well as from CD music … You can practise in silence while the serenity of the gong chimes adds to the peace arising from your sessions.
There are eight possible settings — time intervals especially adjusted to the practice of Reiki: every 2, 2 ½ , 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes for up to 90 minutes. Of course, the Reiki Timer can be stopped at any moment by simply pressing the on/off button.
The Reiki Timer can also be used by other therapists who would appreciate a discreet and peaceful signal to regulate their sessions. It is also a beautiful reminder of mindfulness at any moment of the day.
The sound of the Reiki Timer is that of a Tibetan “singing bowl” digitally recorded, which gives it a very pure quality. There are 2 volume control options.
The Reiki Timer is only available in Sycamore as pictured.
It is 13.5 cm long at the base.
