COMMUNITY EVENTS

Leo and Stella Sofer offer a lovely evening of prayerful singing on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Songs are usually in 3-4 part harmony, but you don’t need to be able to read music or have any experience – everything is taught with the beginner in mind.  More info – here you go! http://www.hawkwoodcollege.co.uk/events/Prayerful_Singing_Fourth_Tuesday

Then at Winter Solstice we will hold our third annual Solstice Spiral on Saturday 21st December.  Afternoon for children and families; evening for adults.

SOUNDING BOWLS – Playing with sound – Sunday 3rd November

Have you ever heard Tobias Kaye’s unique Sounding Bowls? They are each made from a particular wood, strung across their diameter. The combination of a beautifully turned and finished vessel and the finely tuned strings is really heavenly when played with awareness. In this workshop you will learn to play with simple musicality and benefit from the uplifting effects of these particular vibrations. http://www.hawkwoodcollege.co.uk/courses/Sounding_Bowls_Playing_with_Sound_November
