This course is facilitated by Michelle Nova ISM AOTOS. She has been teaching Bel Canto vocal vocal technique for over 30yrs, is a soprano, conductor, choral leader, author or 'Singing Bel Canto - Art & Science', workshop and course leader, breath, sound and vibrational worker.
Healing through Singing, Music and Colour was documented thousands of years ago by the ancient Egyptians. Pythagoras prescribed music for all ailments and discovered the colours corresponding to each musical note. Sufi Indians call singing ‘The Divine Art’. This knowledge has been hidden but is now beginning to be used as medicine for our time. Now, more than ever, we need to re-connect with these powerful vibrations and learn how to use them to heal and protect ourselves and others, for positive mental and physical health and wellbeing.
Everything that exists is created by vibration and is vibration. We are vibrational beings and when we feel unwell, we say we feel 'off colour'. We can feel 'out of tune' so we need to put ourselves back 'in tune'. Have you ever said 'I don't resonate with that person?' By using our voice, music and colour, we can create these healing vibrations.
This course is made up of 4 modules each focusing on the different healing vibrations, what they are, how to create and use them. The first module is an introduction to the lost ancient vibrational healing art forms, and we will explore through each separate module: Breath work, humming, resonance, sacred vowels, colour visualisation, music/sound, cymatics (sound made visible).
