The Singing Jar - High-grade Udu with Mic Jack.
Jarimba means "Singing Jar". The concept of this Udu drum is built around the fact that the ceramic produces very high pitched sounds while simultaneously enabling a warm and rich bass. With the “Microphone inside!” system, it can be played on stage without feedback problems.
The Jarimba can be played with traditional hand-percussion techniques such as open tone, bass, slap, split-hand, floating hands, etc.
The body produces high singing sounds and a warm bass with long sustain. The neck enables you to modulate sound and sustain and the new conical shape of the neck prevents acoustic feedbacks.
The "belly" of the Jarimba serves as a resonance chamber to make it possible to play it loud enough without electrical amplification. But for the stage the Jarimba comes with a microphone jack suitable for Shure Beta 98 or SM11 mics. (microphones not included)
The ceramic material is especially mixed for a great sound and sturdy structure. Its surface is sealed with black varnish to ensure high stain-resistance.
