UK, SOUTH SHIELDS - Sound Meditation Evening , Sound Healing Lotus Academy UK, Sutton Hall, Prince Edward Road, South Shields, NE34 7QD, 23 Nov 2018

SOUTH SHIELDS PLEASE NOTE:- NEW TIME:- 6.30PM - 19.45PM How does it work? Sound healing, or Vibrational therapy, works by using certain sound frequencies and waves to reduce stress and anxiety, and to create a meditative and relaxing state. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronises our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep where internal healing can occur). This same concept is utilised in meditation by regulating the breath, but with sound its the frequency that is the agent which influences the shift. Sound has helped many in the area of the North East and it is enjoyed by many and helped insomnia, vertigo, tinnitus, headach

UK, Full Moon Gong Meditation With Sacred Cacao Ceremony, Nicola Kelsall, Earthtones Sound Therapy, Studio 6, The Old School Business Centre, Church Drive, Nottingham NG5 6LD, 23 Nov 2018

During a full moon there is a surge of powerful energy, making it the perfect time to take action in your life. The Full Moon is a time to release that which no longer serves you, anything you no longer need in your life or an aspect of yourself that you have outgrown. We cannot move on or embrace new opportunities until we let go of the old and signal our readiness to embrace the new. Often, taking actions within a ceremony or ritual can give them more potency.

What Will Happen in the Gong Meditation?

We’ll begin by indulging in sacred, ceremonial grade pure Cacao, to open the heart to the energies to come. We’ll then take part in a cleansing guided meditation, before letting the healing, sacred sounds of the gongs, Himalayan bowls and earthy percussion wash over you.

After this, there will be time to re-hydrate and share your journey, if you wish to.

What is “Pure Ceremonial Cacao”?

Pure Cacao is sometimes called “raw chocolate”. It is about as far from the dairy fille

- Are you being called to release & let go of things, like the trees shedding their leaves?
- Are you feeling tired as your body starts to change for the onset of the colder months?
- Harvest: are you drawn to gather what you need in readiness for winter?

A Cacao Ceremony gives us time for ourselves in a hectic & stressful world. It is the perfect space to swtich off the outside chaos & journey into the silence, so that we can gain clarity of who we are, where we are going & the opportunities available to us.

Cacao is a raw chocolate bean that is a gentle Plant Medicine that helps us to release emotional blockages that no longer serve us & to find forgiveness in ourselves & others. It shows us the way forward if we are stuck or afraid of making the necessary life changes in order to move on. It also enables us to access stuck emotions, conditionings, patterns of behaviour & addictions that are buried deep in the unconscious.

At each Cacao Ceremony we use 100% Raw Organic Cer
