Dr. Nicola Brough
Dr Nicola Brough has worked in complementary and integrative medicine for over 20 years, she is an experienced craniosacral therapy practitioner and Reiki Master Teacher, clinical supervisor, and group facilitator.
She has researched and published on outcomes of importance to patients using complementary and integrative medicine; and exploring patient's perspectives of self-care.
Earlier in her career, Nicola worked for a leadership and management company delivering programmes and psychometric testing for training and recruitment purposes. Using tools to measure the ‘inner world’ intrigued Nicola and paved the way to develop the Warwick Holistic Health Questionnaire an holistic measure of wellbeing as part of her PhD and is the Director of Measure Well Ltd.
For five years, Nicola ran the Torus Wellbeing Clinic supporting the mental and physical health of the community within Staffordshire, United Kingdom.
Nicola has an undergraduate degree in European Business Administration from the University of Wolverhampton, a Master of Philosophy in Health Sciences and a PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Warwick Medical School, UK.
