This version of the Mini Monochord is tuned and strung as a Tamboura.
Due to it's compact size it is more suitable for travelling.

Tambura tone sequence: a-d'-d'-d is set several times in a row. Various thick strings, which, in addition to the lowest fundamental tone, also sound the harmonic higher notes in the fifth and octave, conjure up a carpet of sound rich in overtones when played. This has a relaxing or invigorating effect depending on the mood. Depending on your preference, the strings can be tuned up to a tone lower.
