Dance for Humanity

At a time when our wintering bodies could use a little boost, we present to you a fun, heart-warming & healing evening of dance, sound healing, community & ceremony as we gather to move, shake and sound our prayers for healing into the collective, whilst raising funds for the front-line humanitarian aid charity Doctors Without Borders/MSF. Many of us have felt affected by ongoing humanitarian crisis and it is easy to feel powerless in times of great collective suffering. Now, more than ever, our planet needs love, unity consciousness and action towards a different kind of future. If you wish to action this change in an inclusive, heart-centric space, you are warmly invited to join us..!

This will be a 3 hour event open to all bodies aged 16 and upwards. We will open the circle with the powerful and expertly guided Chakra Toning practice, moving us from separation of the mind and activating a deep sense of embodied aliveness and togetherness. From here, we move into a dance journey of deep rhythmic beats and heart opening lyrics from around the globe, specially curated by dance facilitator Jessa Yiskah. To conclude & integrate our movement you will be invited to nest down and receive the sublimely immersive instrumental sound and song of Katerina & Richard Down. We close our experience with a sharing circle.

We know that lots of movement is hungry work! So we also be providing a selection of delicious homebaked goodies and teas. These will be available for purchase throughout the event so please bring some change if you wish to enjoy these.
