Beltran Melgar
I was born in Madrid on May 15th 1953. English was my first hobby related with sound. At the age of 14, I could reproduce in my brain any song from the Beatles with total timing precision. On 1972, having a Revox A77 tape recorder at home, I started a two decades solo investigation of “chaos” manipulating sounds like Brian Eno was doing with Robert Fripp after leaving Roxy Music. By that time I was a prestigious DJ in Madrid. In the seventies I learned how to play guitar, “Charango”. Later on, some keyboards. On 1992 I entered the digital world (Korg M1 & computers) and began to investigate the healing power of sound. I put music in some amateur films; I found cricktes useful to get rid of “tinnitus”; I spent thousand hours looking for a new concept in harmony and, finally, I became a “sound sculptor”, exhibiting material in some Art Galleries. On 2001 I quit from Art and started a new life. Putting my creative aspects aside, I began -once more- to listen. Only listen. As a Reiki practitioner I had a casual meeting with Hemi-Sync in 1996. And a deep contact in 2008. Now I´m an accredited Outreach Facilitator for the Monroe Institute. Once again… “ sound is the sunshine of my life¡¡

The importance of being focused

One of the biggest problems we humans have in this moment ofevolution is to get rid of our minds in a world of unrestful waves of contradictory information. Preachers, charlatans, story talers, history tailors, singers, deaf and dumb speakers of horrors and fairy tales are continuously bombing our ears. Multimedia is so powerful that it´s not easy to control our feelings when we are exposed to so many influences. read more
