During the workshop you will experience how Sound and Light are the two fundamental principles of the universe. By using the structure of both sound and vision you will be introduced to practices that strengthen presence and awaken your inner light. You will explore the unique healing powers of Phonetic healing that are able to touch and express our inner being so that specific issues can be healed by the responses that are formed in the body. Phonetic healing works to harness the fundamentals of the Creative Word, which touch into your soul-body structure, releasing hindrances that would prevent the awakening of your true self.
The workshop also includes the opportunity to hold and play a wide variety of Sounding Bowls. Making a good sound requires no skill. The beauty of each one draws you in, to discover an acoustic of extraordinary richness whose golden harmonies open up the heart and release the inner joy and beauty of your own soul. Sounding Bowls will also be used in meditations and exercises opening up the spaces of inner harmony and harmonising the spaces between one another. There will also be time for individual ‘Sound-Baths’ that drench the body in harmony, releasing endorphins that refresh your whole world-perception.

Through the combined practice of Phonetic healing and Sounding Bowls you will have the opportunity to follow sounds that will lead you directly to the path of your self in life. The workshop will include:
Group work including pair work and large circle work, One to one, personal sound massage sessions, Individual sound baths with Sounding Bowls, Personal reflection for integration of exercises during quiet times.
Wilhelmina Swindell is the only person in the world to have mastered the two major forms of phonetic healing, using spoken sound: Chirophonetic as taught by Alfred Bauer in Austria and Psychophonetic as taught by Yehuda Tagar in Budapest. Each of these is a four year training. Wilhelmina has been practicing for over 20 years
Tobias Kaye is the original developer of a unique musical-sculpture, the Sounding Bowl. Now refined into six types, Sounding Bowls are used worldwide in music, performance and healing. Doctors have affirmed their effects and therapists say they can no longer imagine working without them.

Registration begins at 4pm on Friday August 14th, program begins at 9:30am on Saturday and Sunday morning. Inexpensive lodging in furnished shared apartments is $35 a night.
