James D'Angelo, a leading authority in the field of sound healing, aims to empower people to use their voice purposely for transformation. His work, which is strongly rooted in Eastern tradition, is based on the premise that vocal sound, applied therapeutically, is the perfect instrument for tuning for energy systems (also known as Chkaras), thus helping to relieve stress, achieve mental clarity and heighten awareness. During this unusual workshop, James will take you and the other participants through a whole range of sound rituals carefully designed to stimulate, release and balance your healing energies - from creating natural sound rituals (such as humming and laughter) that aid emotional release, to sounding out chants that help focus on the present moment. Much of his work is accomopanied simple movement that encourage and direct the sounds.

James D'Angelo, author of The Healing Power of the Human Voice and Seed Sounds for Tuning the Chakras, has been conducting therapeutic sound workshops in Europe and the USA since 1994 He has also presented lectures at UK and USA conferences on the nature and the healing power of sound.
