As always, there was a lot of experimentation when designing the Profi Gong Mallet move line 60. The result is a mallet that combines many advantages. The head of the mallet has a diameter of 60 mm. Inside is a core of rubber, a comparatively soft material that produces a precise sound, without it pushing through while playing and disturbing its own noises. The outer shell forms wellness fleece, which is highly abrasion-resistant. The handle is new. It is deliberately not made of wood, but of plastic. The end is covered with a layer of cork, so that the handle reaches a thickness of 18 mm and lies securely in the hand without slipping. It is precisely the handle that makes the PGM move line 60 an all-round mallet. Because it springs slightly when playing and can therefore not only be used for gongs and singing bowls, but also for drums. For drums, the Mallet is also a sensible purchase as a pair.
Overall, the PGM move line 60 is 34.5 cm long and weighs 155 g, making it one of the light mallets.
