STA Launched!
The Sound Therapy Association (STA) is now ready to welcome its first members! Founded by Sheila Hill of Inner Sound and Lyz Cooper of The British Adaemy of Sound Therapy, the STA has also had support from Simon Heather and other members of the College of Sound Healing, Tim Wheater and James D'Angelo among others. The STA aims to be a support network for therapists and practitioners of sound therapy, schools and also workshop facilitators. By working together as a collective we aim to create a positive environment within which the general public and other organisations seeking a therapist, course, consultant or group can come for advice and information. It is also hoped that together we will promote the field of sound therapy by holding events, networking and advertising this important modality.
