‘INSIDE THE MUSIC’ MASTERS SERIES
These master classes feature leading national music industry professionals, each discussing in an intimate setting how they work their craft in what will be a unique series. Each speaker has spent an entire lifetime in music and their individual perspectives will give the audience a special insight not easily available – the audience will
literally go ‘inside the music’ – with masters of their craft.
The vocal master class will feature legendary Australian singer John Swan (Swanee) the voice behind hits ‘If I Were A Carpenter’ and ‘Lady What’s Your Name’ discussing rock vocal styles. Acclaimed international vocalist / teacher / trainer and ex Polydor recording artist Karen Grace discusses advanced vocal techniques. Lastly SA’s most
in demand studio and session vocalist Ian ‘Polly ‘Politis discusses creating harmony vocals and studio singing techniques.
Each speaker will give in depth comment and insight on specific music areas. Handouts will be provided to audience members to take home.
A Q&A session will close each session – the audience will be encouraged to ask questions of speakers.
