Masha’s Sand & Sound Centre is a hub forcreative/holistic therapies and training in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
She has an MSc in Therapeutic Practice inPsychological Trauma from the University of Chester, and has widely lecturedand delivered training on various subjects of trauma, therapy, healing,wellbeing, in the UK and internationally (Norway, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan,Lithuania, Latvia, Russia and other countries).
In addition to working with sound, creative therapiesand trauma Masha has wide experience in mental health, including seven years ofwork as a psychotherapist in the NHS, supporting patients with anxiety,depression, eating disorders, chronic pain. She has also worked for a number ofyears in addiction treatment services and criminal justice system, managing adrug rehab in a prison and running groups for the probation service.
In her spare time Masha paints pictures, writes poetryand songs - she published her first collection of healing poems, The AppearingAct, in 2023. Her website is www.sandsoundcentre.co.uk
