Be the Peace Workshop Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21st September. It is dedicated to world peace, and specifically the absence of war and violence. This day was established through the tireless efforts of Jeremy Gilley, founder of “Peace One Day”. www.peaceoneday.org Jeremy has suggested a theme for this year’s Peace Day: “Who will you make peace with?” So, as part of the global celebration of peace, we’ve been guided to do a workshop in the ancient sacred site of Avebury, one of the planet’s most significant Earth acupuncture points. It’s the day before Equinox, a time of balance, of equal day and night; a perfect time to reflect on peace, both inner and outer. This workshop is about being the peace we wish to see in the world. We’ll be using a variety of approaches to enhance inner peace including: •Peace Gong Baths with Paiste Planet Gongs. •Meditations to inspire open heartedness and loving kindness. •Crystal Bowl attunements. •Mantra, toning and songs of peace. •Stories of reconciliation and forgiveness. •Video by Jeremy Gilley, Peace One Day founder. •Practical tools and techniques to create inner peace. ***** Peace Ceremony We’ll conclude the day with a public Peace Ceremony in the Sun Circle, Avebury, where we will infuse the Michael and Mary lines and the Earth’s grids with our loving, light-filled and peaceful energies. We will be blessed with the presence of a Peace Across the Planet Shiva Lingam, accompanied by the sounds of gongs, crystal bowls and our voices.
