UK, AVEBURY - Imbolc Celebrations at Avebury, Bards of Avalon, Avebury Stones and Social Centre High Street, Avebury, Marlborough, WiltshireSN8 1RF, 01 Feb 2014
Come and join us in celebrating this beautiful Celtic Festival in the sacred landscape of Avebury.
Imbolc is a time when Nature reawakens, the first shoots emerge and the life force rises within us and the land.
The festival is associated with Bridget/Bridie, the Goddess of fertility, smithcraft, poetry, healing, wells, springs and all forms of creative expression.
It is a perfect time to consider what is your heart’s desire and the steps you need to make to manifest your dreams.
We’ll be celebrating using voice, drums, crystal bowls, gongs, Himalayan bowls and a variety of percussion instruments, together with spaces for meditation and reflection.
This is a co-creative event, so please bring any musical instruments, poetry, art, crystals, flowers etc as you feel inspired.
