Dear Gong Friends, I am very happy to announce that I will be facilitating Gong Baths every Tuesdays from the 15th September onwards at The Purple Turtle in Brighton. Sessions will start promptly at 7.30pm and will last 60 minutes. They will include: -a guided visualisation or meditation at the begging and end of session; - and a sound immersion with the Gong and other therapeutic instruments (singing bowls, chimes, bells, a rain stick, a frame drum, a Koshi, a croaking frog güiro, shakers and leaf rattles). What to bring: Yoga mats and eye pillows are provided, but please bring a cushion/head pillow for comfort and a blanket to keep warm. The body temperature may shift during the session, so it is always nice to have something warm that we can cover ourselves with. ---- What is a Gong Bath? A Gong Bath is a form of Sound Therapy where the Gong and other related instruments are played to bring out relaxation and general well being. The term 'Gong Bath' means that you are bathed in sound waves. There is no touching or water involved. You don’t have to remove any clothing, just wear loose confortable clothes.
