UK, CHICHESTER - Professional Sound Therapy Training Courses Start, Lyz Cooper, University of Chichester, Upper Bognor Road, Bognor Regis, 25 Jan 2014

The benefits of working with sound as a therapeutic tool are great. Our training courses offer a firm theoretical foundation which enables you to build a thriving person-centred practice with a big heart. No experience is necessary.

The BAST method of sound therapy explores how sound affects psychology, physiology and neurology. Reflective techniques explore behaviour (psycho-neuro immunology and the mind/body link) along with the dialogue we have with sound. We aim to help explain how and why sound can be such an effective tool for helping to improve health and well-being and how different instruments can work in different ways.

Our courses are modular so students can tailor make a course to suit their needs incorporating Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, Holistic Voice Therapy, drum therapy, mantra therapy, gong therapy, tuning fork therapy (with kinesiology) and passive voice therapy.

All diploma courses are recognised and students have a comprehensive support network to draw from once qualified as well as further business opportunities with regard to research and projects run by BAST.
