UK, DEVON - Short day Chant/Mantra Workshop, Sheila Whittaker, Bickington, Devon, 11 Mar 2017
This is a short-day workshop, from 11am to 4pm, to be held in Bickington near Newton Abbot, Devon. We will be chanting in both English and Sanskrit – the powerful sacred language of traditional spiritual chanting. We will cover the basics of Sanskrit including elementary pronunciation, and learn both simple and more complex chants. This workshop is for those who are interested in the power of chant and mantra, both for use in sound healing, & as part of a spiritual practice. It is suitable for all - whether seasoned chanters or novices, as the day will be structured to suit the group. Participants can expect to end the day in an elevated state of consciousness due to the high energy vibration of sacred chanting!
