Forest Bathing (shinrin yoku) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinrin-yoku therapy, or sensory and intuitive nature connection activities, allows one to connect with nature to improve physical, emotional and mental health.
It takes the form of a progressive sensory immersion to the rhythm of gentle activities, punctuated with moments of sharing. We slow down, awaken our senses to the forest life and welcome the life within us. This includes walking, meditation, contemplation activities that reduce stress or boost immune defences, and many other benefits revealed over the years by scientific studies. ?
WHAT IS A GONG BATH?
Gong Bath is a sound massage originating from Kundalini Yoga. This is a sound and vibrational journey that can be therapeutic by promoting relaxation, healing and body/mind balance through cellular vibration. It acts on the frontal cortex of the brain, acts on stress by toning the vaginal nerve. It calms the mind, anxiety, opens space for relaxation, healing and transformation. Gongs are sacred healing instruments used in rituals for 6000 years. ?
The alliance of these two practices amplify the virtues and benefits felt: a gentle alchemy of sound therapy and forest bathing.
