Finding The Voice will guide you to your natural voice. The course takes us from breath awareness to singing the notes and intervals of the musical octave. It explores our sense of hearing, physical posture and the effect of sound on wellbeing. It looks at creative ways to practice and develop our musicality. Vocal play is supported by simple movement and relaxation techniques, freeing body and mind to free the voice. I arrived a bag of nerves & finished the day on a high, with my heart singing freely with a group of people singing from their hearts, singing a song that was ours, but never to be sung again. What a beautiful & joyful experience." The weekend is for anyone who thinks they can't sing, and anyone who wants to sing with greater ease and confidence. It can also be used as part of the foundation course, Music Another Way.
