Jenna and James have been melting and moving hearts for many years and they are bound to yet again in this concert featuring the jazz greats: Bessie Smith, Scott Joplin, Nina Simone, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie,Clifford Brown, Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Dexter Gordon, Charles Mingus, John Lewis Thelonius Monk and Chet Baker. From the poignant God Bless the Child to the deliciously witty Twisted to the innocent, lilting Waltz for Debby. Jenna has been described by the well-known jazz singer Marion Montgomery as being "An absolutely mesmerizing performer" and , more recently, as " a singer of terrific, emotional power" by the Gloucestershire Echo following her solo concert at the Cheltenham Town Hall. James made his jazz debut at Carnegie Recital Hall, New York and has played with the legendary jazz bassist Charles Mingus. A winner of international prizes for his compositions, he is a featured composer and pianist at this year's Three Choirs Festival in Gloucester.
