Men are trained for millennia to soldier on, literally or metaphorically. Steadfastness in adversity and the discipline to focus on the goal have a value in terms of both worldly achievement and character building.
The danger for men is in losing touch with our inner life & the feminine realm as a result – there are many examples in the world and most of us have experienced the hollowness of worldly success or goodies divorced from our hearts. Men that are in any way drawn to Secret Garden work will of course know this, and most have been sensitive to and guided by their inner life for some time.
This day is an opportunity for men that have sat in many, some or no circles to meet & nourish the inner. Being with men as ‘spiritual friends’ is good for us in ways our words can only hint at.
