Following the joyous response to our first Free Your Soul in Nature gathering at Matara, we are delighted to offer more Voice, Sound & Music Medicine experiential courses & gatherings inspired by Nature in the Singing Field at Matara throughout 2023.
?The Singing Field is sourced from a shared love of Nature, and Matara transmits the great beauty of Nature in all Her forms. The all-pervading living presence of Nature vibrates every cell in our bodies. Come and breathe in the beauty, the ancient trees, the sounds of bird song, walk the labyrinth, enter 'the field of dreams', be touched by the elements and let your soul sound out, express, pray, and sing with others in ways you never imagined possible. As we move towards the Spring equinox there is an emerging energy rising like the phoenix, inspired by the movements of the Sun, giving voice to an individual and collective call to awaken new energies of Love, to give voice to new Life, to co-create and sound a new World into Being.
?NOW is the time to embody your authentic voice as a super-power of confidence, creativity and courage. The Singing Field is an all-inclusive, deep listening ground, where diverse individuals can meet to share their longing and belonging together, through the expression of wild prayer, love song, sacred mantra, and soulful poetry. Returning to the silence before sound, the unified Field ‘beyond right and wrong doing’ is restored, and we can each remember our true sound, as unique as your DNA, beyond fear of separateness, alienation and shame, coercion, acquiescence, misinformation and blame. The Singing Field is rooted in Love - unconditional loving presence - and from there arises a sound that heals, reveals and dissolves old narratives, restores our capacity to remember why we chose to be alive at this unique and transformative time in human evolution. The Singing Field is rooted in three questions: 1) Who am I? 2) Why am I here? 3) What is mine to express?
We will focus our sound practice on the triadic nature of The Naked Voice as the integration of: Sound Awareness, Soul Awareness and Wisdom Awareness.
Chloë Goodchild is founder of The Naked Voice, a pioneering vocal training, founded in 1990, exploring voice as a spiritual practice, sustained by conscious core practices, devotional music, and audio-books that empower you to embody and express your authentic voice. The Naked Voice Charitable Foundation was established in 2004, to restore ethical, healthy, happy and harmonious relationships -personal, global and universal. Chloe’s seminal book, The Naked Voice – Transform Your Life through the Power of Sound (North Atlantic Books, 2015) provides a comprehensive & instructional account of the essential Naked Voice wisdom of sound.
