Singing Field Workhop - Saturday 22nd July
Given the increasing intensity of life on earth it is now essential for us all to wake up and join together in person – locally – as much as possible. The Singing Field metaphor has defined the Naked Voice presence over the past 20 years since I was touring with Rumi poet Coleman Barks, and heard his ‘Field’ poem for the first time. My creative collaborator Nicholas Twilley and I very much look forward to evolving this field more deeply in the Nailsworth/Stroud community. In light of this, we have decided to bring the Singing Field community into the heart of Nailsworth, Gloucestershire.
NOW is the time to embody your authentic voice as a super-power of confidence, creativity and courage. The Singing Field is an all-inclusive, listening ground, where you can meet to share and explore sound together, inspired by wild prayer, love song, sacred mantra, and soulful poetry. This unified Field ‘beyond right and wrong doing’, sourced from silence, restores a direct experience of your true sound, unique as your DNA, beyond the fear of separateness and alienation. The Singing Field, rooted in Love, dissolves old narratives, revealing our capacity to respond to 3 core questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is mine to express? You will take away an understanding of the essential core practices and principles of The Naked Voice - spoken, sung & silent.
Chloë Goodchild is founder of The Naked Voice, a pioneering vocal training, founded in 1990, exploring voice as a spiritual practice, sustained by conscious core practices, devotional music, and audio-books that empower you to embody and express your authentic voice. Chloe’s seminal book, The Naked Voice – Transform Your Life through the Power of Sound (North Atlantic Books, 2015) provides a comprehensive & instructional account of the essential Naked Voice wisdom of sound. Chloe is a faculty member and author for The Shift Network and Sounds True.
