Welcome to the Stroud Sacred Music Festival's celebratory devotional Chant space.
We look forward to sharing the beautiful words and music of the chants with you and blending our voices together.
We will keep to time for each session, so please come on time.
1330-1445 Taizé chanting with Juliette Saville. Simple, sacred harmony chants in the Christian tradition in Latin, English or other languages. Music and words provided in books. Supported with live music - keyboard, violin and flute.
1500-1600 - Songs for the Goddess - beautiful, heartfelt earth chants with easy words and simple melodies in honour of the Goddess, the Earth, our sacred world.
1615-1730 - Raga Babas and Gong Bath - singable, ecstatic and meditative bhajans from the Hindu tradition - easy words and tunes with a full band to carry you along. Followed by relaxing and healing Gong Bath with master instrumentalist Barry Mason.
You might want to bring a water bottle for your comfort and a cushion if you like to sit or lie on the floor.
Each session is £5 + £0.98 booking fee or book all three for £12+£1.52 booking fee
