We even talk of ‘moving performances’, or of how someone’s singing was ‘UPLIFTING’. ‘The Moving Voice’ offers you an inspiring guide to the ways in which MOVEMENT can Help You Release Your Voice & Enable Expressive Singing of Songs Music to Come About. 2) Holistic Breathing, 1 - 2 August This workshop will explore with you all aspects of breathing in relationship to i) your voice and ii) your life in ways that will improve not only your singing but your sense of well-being. In particular the workshop will help you learn: > how to breathe in freely (i.e. without gasping) > how to energise your breathing, and > how to sustain your breath so you can sing longer phrases of music (helped by Tonalis’ totally new understanding of ‘breath support’). 3) Colours of the Voice, 4 - 6 August Following on from the success of the first Colours of the Voice workshop in March, by popular demand we are offering this theme again. Come and explore How to create an AMAZING ARRAY OF VOICE QUALITIES AND COLOURS How to set your VOICE UP SO YOU CAN SING IN DIFFERENT VOCAL STYLES Along the way you’ll learn how to: > Open up Different Resonance Chambers > Create Special Vocal Effects > Sing different forms of Ornamentation > Create Light and Dark and > Become a Sound Painter!
