We are delighted to be able to present this Workshop in the Healing Sanctuary of the celebrated healer, Harry Edwards. The Harry Edwards Foundation is a charity that offers spiritual healing to all living things at the beautiful country house and gardens setting of Burrows Lea in the Surrey Hills.
Join us on Sunday 16th November for a deep and restorative sound journey with Derek Barnes, facilitated alongside Kim Pilkington. Using the inherent sound and vibration of the voice, Derek creates an immersive soundscape and experiential learning event that supports relaxation, insight and connection. Participants are guided to explore how sound can release tension, quieten the mind, and awaken new states of consciousness and awareness.

The creation myths of the world unfold to us that sound is the centre of creation and that we each have a unique vibrational connection to The Source within the song of the soul, encapsulating mind, body and spirit and contributing to the connectivity and harmony of being, the one-ness of creation and the healing powers within it.
Rediscovering our sound opens the possibility for freedom, inspiration, hope, healing, creativity and energy sovereignty.
In this workshop, we will explore and discover how voice and sound can transform our experience of consciousness, inviting connection with the Gaia-sphere.
Through demonstration, shared discussion, and gentle sounding in a supportive environment you will have an opportunity to reconnect with your own unique sound expression, embracing scientific and spiritual perspectives. Through breath, sound, truth and intention you will have an opportunity to experience the attributes of different cultures, connecting with ancestral vibrations and open a gateway to information to support your own intuition, creativity, and insight.

Derek Barnes is an accredited Healer of The Healing Trust (NFSH). As a professional conductor, composer, and voice specialist he is Professor (Emeritus) of Music Theatre Performance University of Gothenburg, and Honorary Patron of the Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies, University of Applied Sciences, Vilnius and incorporates the use of voice and sound in his healing practice. He has presented Healing Workshops at The College of Psychic Studies (London), The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Centre (Edinburgh), as well as in the USA, France, Germany, and Scandinavia.
Kim Pilkington is a Trustee of the Harry Edwards Foundation, course tutor and presenter at the College of Psychic Studies, and a practitioner in the areas of Bio Energy, Reiki healing, Neuro Linguistics, and mediumship. Through her work with Spirit and the Angelic Realm Kim seeks to bring their radiant love and guidance through into our human experience.
