Tuning Fork Practitioner - Basic & Advanced Levels (3 day Intensive) Used in medicine, music, and science for their accuracy and precision, tuning forks are an ideal instrument for sound therapy, utilizing the human body's capacity to resonate with vibration. As a holistic approach to health and well-being, tuning forks offer a quick and easy way to release stress, restore vitality and balance your whole system. INNER SOUND tuning forks deliver a series of pure 5th intervals that promote a deep state of relaxation with lasting benefits. Ideal for personal, family or professional use, they may be used independently or with a wide range of other therapies. Our Basic Level training content: fundamental principles of sound; why sound helps restore physical health & emotional well-being; guidelines for session protocols, contra-indications, over-activation symptoms; suggested applications for using INNER SOUND Tuning Forks. Our Advanced Level training covers the benefits and application of specific sequences of frequencies, using the INNER SOUND Spiral of Fifths Set. Tuition focuses on the INNER SOUND Motifs, unique to our sound therapy system. Each motif offers a specific healing focus for physical, mental, emotional and energetic aspects. INNER SOUND Motifs help deepen self-awareness; body consciousness; improve communication and self-expression and increase physical vitality. Motifs include: Centering, Contact, Opening, Foot Stimulation, Grounding, Birth, Expansion, Contraction, Conception, Child, Left/Right Balance, Hemispheric Balance, Alpha, Front/Back Alignment, Theta, Hope, ELA, Cleaning & Integration. Students experience the effect of the motifs during training, practice giving and receiving sessions under direct supervision, both individually and with others; and review case studies. School for INNER SOUND is a registered Independent School with the BCMA (British Complementary Medicine Association) and the CMA (Complementary Medical Association) and a founder-member of the Sound Therapy Association (www.soundtherapyassn.org.uk) Certification as an INNER SOUND Tuning Fork Practitioner is achieved once all training requirements (includes case studies) are completed.
