Come and join our Oct Full Moon OM Chanting Meditation with Singing Bowls @ Charles Booth Centre on 20 Oct (Wed), 7:30 -8:30 pm, £6/person
What to expect?
The session will start with an introduction of OM Chanting plus 10 min pranayama (breathing exercise). You will be invited to chant OM together led by Dora with her Singing Bowl for about 20-30 mins and then followed by a 15- min meditation and then some space for reflection and sharing, and of course a cup of tea. Bring a comfortable cushion for yourself to sit on.
You DON'T need to be good at singing. It's chanting with a simple OM sound that is composed of 'a', 'u' and 'm' sounds to create the vibration from our throat to our chest and all the way to every part of our body.
This event is only suitable for people who are 16 or above.
Singing Bowls Sound Baths are not recommended during the first and last trimester of pregnancy or if you have a pacemaker or have had surgery in the past month. They may not be suitable for people who have metal implants (not including dental fillings), are sensitive to sounds including Tinnitus and Meniere's, have some forms of Epilepsy and seizures, and have some mental health issues.
