Join us for Sacred Sound Bath. These sessions are held one Thursday a month and have a different focus and intention each time. In this sonic meditation we will use a variety of instruments: Gongs, Shamanic drum, Tibetan singing bowls, Voice, Native American Flute and more, to help bring about a change in the brain waves, producing a blissful state of relaxation that will help you to unwind and restore body, mind and spirit. These sonic vibrations work very deeply into the physical cells of the body, and can assist in clearing old patterns of behaviour, blocks and traumas that no longer serve you and will help in balancing nervous system, meridians and chakras. The focus this month will be the Crown Chakra -Sahasrara in Sanskrit and the colour is Violet. We will be supported by the deeply transformative healing frequencies of the Pluto Gong which takes us on a journey from base to crown - Pluto aids us in raising up from the dark to the light.. helping us become less dense... lighter.... en-light-ened.. This chakra connects us with the universe and the Divine source of all creation. It is about going beyond the limits of your own ego, experiencing unity and knowing that all of creation is interconnected. We will do a simple mindfulness exercise before journeying into Sound and use Frankincense essential oil which helps oxygenate the pineal and pituitary glands, aiding meditative contemplation.
