Sound, Colour and Yoga makes up a powerful trinity of elements that hold the potential for a deepening of awareness, self knowledge, healing and alignment with our soul. Our first day of "Sound and Yoga" (Saturday 14th July) starts a journey to finding more of who we are, beginning the fine tuning on a physical, mental and emotional level. This day will include gentle Hatha, with Toning, deep relaxation within a Sound Bath, Chakra balancing, Meditation in Nature and sacred Mantra chanting. This day starts to clear and open our way to greater balance and integration of our spirit in body, mind and soul "Sound and Colour" on Sunday 15th July deepens the work begun on the Saturday (although each day will also be complete in itself) We will look at the relationship between sound and colour. We will explore the relevance of colours within the Chakras and our Aura. Colour can be read as a language offering valuable insights about the nature of our being at all levels. We each have particular themes to work on and to explore in this lifetime which are both inspired as well as supported by certain colours. We are also said to each have a fundamental note to which we resonate. From our personal selection of colours, we will explore their implications to see which colours and sounds can really help us forward in our life. Once we are aligned with our true colour and note, life is on track to finding fulfillment, joy and ever finer ways to participate in this great adventure we call Life! Chambers Farm Wood Centre opens into the Butterfly Garden. Energetically, butterflies symbolise transformation, adding to the nurture and grounding effects that may be enhanced by our walks and connection with the surrounding woodlands. It feels like a real privilege to simply be present with the beauty and peace around us here. (Both workshops qualify towards the requirements of "two further workshops" for the College of Sound Healing with the Voice Practitioner Course)
