Come and connect with your highest wisdom through the vibration of sound! Siobhan and Gavin will take you on a journey through an array of practices to awaken the heart and nourish the soul. We will be using the HEART SUTRA as a central focus throughout the retreat. This powerful mantra alleviates suffering and encourages us to reach for the highest wisdom; the wisdom of the heart and a deeper more compassionate way of being.
We will also be working with world chant & mantra, free voice, meditation, yin and restorative yoga, sound healing, movement, ritual, breathing exercises and more.
Sound and voice has been a potent healing modality for centuries from the sacred plainchant of monks and the powerful intoning of a shaman’s voice, to the ancient mystery schools in India and Egypt. It is now being supported by western science to promote health and well being which can be beneficial for certain ailments as well as regulating the para-sympathetic nervous system in order to restore a deep sense of calm, equilibrium and homeostasis in the mind-body.
This is a unique opportunity to find your heart song and connect with your true inner vibration.
NO VOCAL OR MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED
GAVIN FRANK is a voice coach, Kirtan leader and musician who has been empowering people from all walks of life to find their true voice for the last 19 years.
SIOBHAN SWIDER is a sound healer and harpist. Siobhan uses and explores sound in a therapeutic approach using the harp, Tibetan and crystal bowls, voice and gongs.

Take a tube-train from the airport to Oriente train station, where you can buy a ticket to Tomar train station, which is 45km away.
