At this gathering we will celebrate our divine femininity using the wave of the transformative practice of Shakti Dance ~ The Yoga of Dance. We will explore the sacred archetypal aspects of women shown in ancient tradition, particularly around the themes of love, courage and creativity. Shakti Dance is a combination of flowing yoga stretches (asanas, influenced in this session by womb yoga), energising dance steps, expressive free dance meditation, relaxation, mantra with movement, and silence; which puts us in touch with our true nature, pure consciousness, our shining light within. In addition to this harmonious blend we will also sing some Kirtan (powerfully healing chants from the heart) aligning us with our feminine shakti power. This is a women-only session No experience necessary, Just an open heart!!!
