UK, LONDON - Dukh Bhanjan - a special night of meditation to end suffering, Professor Surinder Singh, Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Havelock Road, Southall UB2 4NP, 25 Oct 2014
Applying ancient techniques from the traditions of Guru Nanak, this sacred night to end suffering will incorporate the basic principles of sacred Sikh music: Gaviyai (chanting), Suniyai (listening) and Anhad (beyond sound).
The sacred mantras will unfold the complications of the psyche to elevate your soul from the present to the omnipresent.
There will be breaks and refreshments between the meditations. During the meditations, instructions will be given in English, German, French, Spanish and Panjabi.
Please wear light coloured, comfortable clothing and a head cover. Bring a shawl and try to eat a light evening meal.
This event has no cost and is open to all, but is not a free event - it is a TREE event. We ask each participant to make a commitment to plant a tree within one year of this event.
