The act of singing can open the heart, and create a sense of joy, expansion and connection to ourselves and others. Could this be considered as an essential practice to enrich our lives, in the same way as we might think of spiritual practices like meditation or mindfulness? Voice teacher, Frank Kane, will present a series of voice exercises and simple traditional polyphonic chants from Georgia in the Caucasus, to allow us to explore giving voice individually and collectively as a path of human growth.
