This week's Gong Bath Sound Sanctuary on the evening of Easter Sunday is dedicated to Unlimited Love; that which is available to everyone at all times. All it takes is to remember to reach out for it, and to step out of fear and worry into trust. Nothing is required of you a Gong Bath Sound Sanctuary except to turn up, lie down, and chill out. It’s a time in the week when you can give yourself permission to do something only for you; a sanctuary to which you can retreat to refresh and renew your body, mind, and spirit, gently guided by someone who is focused on your wellbeing. The preparatory guided relaxation and meditation will ease you into Alpha and Theta brainwave states, when your brain will match the frequency of the Schumann Resonance - the pulse of the Earth - before the vibrations of the Gongs get to work. No water is involved in a Gong Bath; the pulses of sound cause the cells of the body to vibrate sympathetically with the frequencies produced by the instruments, delivering a massage at a level below conscious awareness - though sometimes this can be felt as tingling sensations in the body. The effect can be to stimulate a healing response in muscles, joints, and tendons, and - because the brain easily enters a meditative brainwave state, there may also be a reduction in stress responses. Feel free to bring some crystals if you have them. You may also want to bring a candle in a jar, and if we have enough, we will do the session by candlelight. I recommend you wear warm layers including socks, as body temperature drops quickly in a deeply relaxed state. Please arrive around 7.20pm for a prompt 7.30pm start. Price £15/10 concessions. Sessions are drop-in, so no advanced booking is possible. However, please message me if you are coming so I have an idea of numbers. Gong Baths are contra-indicated if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or suffer from serious mental illness. Some medical implants are fine: please ask me first!
