Meditational Gong Bath & Sound Journey - Transformation Join us on a journey of sound to experience a deep and blissful state enhanced by the power of the gongs. We will be working with various instruments including our symphonic and Chiron gong - Chiron the Wounded Healer. Through the tone and vibration of the Chiron Gong old deep wounds may be released and healed; bringing forth transformation on your journey presenting new growth and ideas. The vibration of the Gong will help break through old ideas and pain allowing you to move forward to create new higher vibration opportunities and relationships. Perfect for those of us with stressful lives. A gong bath is a fully clothed ! relaxing and blissful experience. The term "gong bath" means that you are bathed in sound waves, there are no clothes removed or water involved, you simply lie down on mats, wrap yourself in a blanket and your head on a pillow, close your eyes and relax. The gongs are played for an hour. The sounds that come out of the gongs are very unfathomable and very difficult for the human brain to follow, this results in surrender, and you will drift into a deep meditative state, this can happen once or many times throughout a session, everyone can have a different experience. Every session is different. The gong bath is very good at relieving stress. It tends to bring people to a blissful state that can often last for many days. Please note: There will be a maximum of around 15 participants allowing for a small and cosy experience, IMPORTANT What should I bring Wear loose comfortable clothing. There are cushions and yoga mats at the venue. Please do bring a blanket or sleeping bag and cushion or pillow for total relaxation and warmth. Cost £15 in advance. £20 on the day subject to availability Please note, our last Gong event was full so early booking is highly advisable. I recommend you arrive a little earlier with time to relax for the best experience. Once the Gong Bath starts it will not be possible for latecomers to gain entry so please do not ring the bell !! Someone will pop there head out at 7.25 to check for any latecomers waiting outside the venue, last opportunity to go in but not IDEAL ! Gong Ladies Several Gongs will be played along with some other instruments. You will be bathed in many layers of sound from various instruments. Michelle Treadwell is an artist and Gong Master. She trained with Don Conreaux at Gaunts House Odette Kurland (group founder) Odette is a Reiki Master and Gong Bath Facilitator and has trained with Sheila Whittaker We will be playing two of the finest quality Paiste gongs including a Symphonic and Chiron the planetary gong.
