World renowned musicians, teachers & therapeutic sound practitioners Michael and Candida have created a special concert for Alternatives to welcome in 2016.
A Concert of music inspired by their recent magical journey to Kyrgyzstan, where the Heaven's Mountains meet the Ancient Silk Road of Central Asia. The confluence of Buddhism, Shamanism, and Sufism.
Michael & Candida have recorded a limited edition album especially for the Alternatives concert. Listen to the voice like tones of the Kyl Kyiak, a traditional Kyrgyz bowed two stringed horse hair fiddle. Mongolian Khoomii overtone and Undertone singing, Shaman drums, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Symphonic Gongs, Kyrgyz Jew's Harps, Sufi Flutes, Tongue gong drum and more...
The audience is invited to bring their own shaman/frame drums to join in with the Sufi Mazaar Dance finale which features dancer Bryony Williams of Spiral Arts dance Theatre Dance Company
